In Summer of 2019, Naomi received the SCORE Research grant alongside theatre professor, Deanna Brookens, to research and create a summer program at SRU.

Throughout the summer, Naomi and Deanna researched summer theatre programs, created and distributed a survey (which informed the structure chosen), and created the framework for the potential program which they presented to the theatre department faculty.
